The 2020 season’s game is finally revealed! This year, teams will need to score points by shooting balls (power cells), completing challenges involving spinning a panel (control panel) and hanging on a rung 5ft 3in high (shield generator switch). We are excited for all the new challenges of this game and will begin our design process on Monday, January 6. There is no stop build day this year, so we will be designing, building, programming and testing on our robot throughout the next 8 weeks. We will also discuss strategies. Below is a table of point values that can be scored during the Infinite Recharge game, taken from the official 2020 FRC Game Season Manual.

Game animations and field demonstrations can be found in this playlist. Meanwhile, please keep posted for our team’s updates during the next few weeks!

On a last note, thank you to IanĀ Koscielski, British Columbia FRC Regional Director, for organizing this kickoff event and thank you to Philip Wang for presenting to us about game strategy and team management.
